Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TapFolio ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your password confidential. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription and Billing

TapFolio offers Free, Pro, and Business subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your dashboard. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions.

4. Physical NFC Card Orders

Orders for physical NFC business cards are subject to our fulfillment process (3–5 business days production, 2–5 business days shipping). All sales of physical goods are final once production begins. Defective items will be replaced at no charge.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (links, profile text, images, avatars). By submitting content, you grant TapFolio a non-exclusive license to display it as part of the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use TapFolio to distribute spam or malware, violate applicable law, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access to the Service, or scrape or automate access without written permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Data is removed within 30 days of deletion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. TapFolio makes no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapFolio's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
